Some say he is crazy for doing this, I say he is pushing the human limit, taking something that seems impossible and turning it into something beautiful, wonderful and inspirational. Last year David Blaine challenged himself to stay awake for 72 hours, as if that’s not challenging enough, he wanted 1 million volts of lightning bolts firing at him for the entire time from seven Tesla coils, creating a spectacular light show. This is something that he saw in a dream and he wanted to make it into a reality. People from all over the world were able to interact and manipulate the rhythm of the lightning bolts through twitter and Ultrbook stations set up in cities around the world. The visual image he has created of a man embedded in a mess of lightning bolts is nothing like I have even seen before, it really is quite amazing to look at.

Why am I posting this on a magic blog when this is not even magic? I want to use my magic blog as a channel to encourage others to go beyond their limits. Impossible is only a limit that we have set for ourselves, if we reach inside ourselves and remove those boundaries, we become limitless, we can achieve anything, and when that happens, it is nothing short of magical.
